21 Weeks Down, 19 More To Go!

21 Week Bump Board
Seems crazy to be on downward slope of my pregnancy.

I apologize for being a day late on this post. This week has been insane and I pray that one day I will get to relax. I wont get my hopes up! 21 weeks already, wow! At this point when I was pregnant with Brayden I had already started buying EVERYTHING I think I even had his crib bought at this point. So far I have not bought one thing for Elena and that's not because she is my second and I don't love her as much or any crazy non sense like that. Partially I feel like I don't want to buy anything until we are finally settled into a house. Moving has been a nightmare especially when we have ZERO time to actually unpack and get settled. Every morning is a fight with piles and piles of clothes trying to find an outfit for Brayden and myself. I don't think I have worn a pair of matching socks all week!

This mom is exhausted!
On that note, on to my 21 week bump board.

I was in the winter wonderland mindset with this post!
All this snow is getting to me.

This week's big developments: You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, baby's eyebrows and lids are present now and her vagina has begun to form as well.

How far along: 21 Weeks

Gender: Baby GIRL

Weight gain: I have gained 3 lbs since the beginning of my pregnancy
but lost 3 lbs since last week.

Maternity clothes: I still fit into my low rise size 0 jeans I just find myself wearing leggings most the time. I bought most of my leggings from debshops.com and all my other ones Matt gets me from American Apparel.

Stretch marks: No new ones! I noticed my old ones on my chest are starting to get more noticeable again now that I am moving up Bra sizes.

Belly button in or out: It looks like an orange navel!
I'll have to post a photo of it next blog post!

Sleep: I actually haven't had any issues with sleeping due to my pregnancy yet. Not even restless legs! I better go knock on some wood. I have fought with Migraines this past week but I think that they are related to the amount of stress I have been dealing with.

Best moment this week: My best moment this week for my pregnancy is I can now feel kicks 24/7. They are always on my lower left side right above my hip bone. I love that she is getting so strong! My best moment this week for my family is the fact that we moved out of Matts grandmas house and got into our own place. Even though we live in a black hole for now I am so grateful to be in our own space and have some of the stress that I was dealing with lifted off my shoulders

Worst moment this week: As I mentioned before I did struggle with migraines this week. I had one for 48 hours straight! Talk about almost hitting my breaking point. My eyes wouldn't stop watering and I couldn't even lye my head down without my head pounding worst.

Miss anything: I have to admit I was jealous of everyone having Holiday Mixed Drinks at Thanksgiving and I have never been one to drink. Maybe I was more envious of how they all just let loose for a night and enjoyed there time. I'll have my chance next year! I can only hope that by then I wont be under so much stress anyways.

Movement: I am so thrilled about this. I forgot how amazing this feeling was. Her kicks and movements are getting so strong they actually wake me up and I find myself sleeping with my hand on my stomach to feel her movements. I was holding Brayden the other day and she was kicking him. They are fighting already! Ha

Cravings: My cravings haven't been too bad lately I do see an increase on
chocolate and orange juice in my diet lately.

Queasy or sick: CRAZY CAR SICK! I sat in the back seat to feed Brayden a bottle the other night and almost threw up from being so sick. Nausea also comes with the migraines. I can only hope this is just a phase that will go away soon. Possibly from not getting much sleep at night either.

Looking forward to: I am looking forward to just having a place to feel comfortable and call home. This is the only thing I want for Christmas.

Santa please bless my family with a home.

Confessions of a Hair Color-a-Holic

When sitting and deeply thinking about something harmful that I am addicted to it took awhile for me to come to terms with the ONE and only addiction that I have.
Coloring & Bleaching my hair.
I have never:  smoked tried any drugs rarely drank alcohol chewed tobacco eat lots of junk food or even drank caffeinated drinks.
I am fairly borderline boring besides the fact that  I am ADDICTED TO CHANGING MY HAIR. Here is my story and eye opener:
I started coloring my hair when I was 15 year old.  For the longest time I was a tom boy and had naturally long dirty blond hair.  The first color I ever did was burgundy underneath and low lights up top. After that it was a spiral of different colors.
Strawberry blonde, dark brown, blonde with red low lights, platinum blonde, chestnut brown it never ended. Along with all the colors I also had issues with ever growing my hair out again  because I was constantly ruining my hair with chemicals.
I started wearing my first set of clip in extensions when I wa…

Chicken Pox after Vaccine

The run around due to Breakthrough Varicella
On October 30th 2014 my son got his Chickenpox Vaccine.

November 24th  I noticed a few bumps on his stomach when he woke up and called his pediatrician for an appointment right away. The doctor said that they were bug bites.  When I asked about the chicken pox vaccine she assured me that the rash had nothing to do with the vaccine. I picked up calamine lotion and carpet insect killer.  Went home and stripped his bedding, bleached his crib rails and mattress,  sprayed his carpet with the insect killer and even got rid of our dog. The bumps dried up but as soon as they did...
December 2nd Brayden was once covered in bumps.  They were mostly on his back/neck and stomach. I freaked out thinking that it was a bug again even though he sleeps in footie pjs. Once again I sprayed the carpets, stripped his bedding and bleached his mattress. I searched HIGH and LOW looking for any bug(s) or even a spider web. The bumps dried up and went away but not for long.

An honest blog about Honest Diapers ❤ PART ONE

Before I get into the benefits of Honest Diapers I wanted to first share my story on the struggles I dealt with that lead me to Honest.
My first born, Brayden, always struggled with diaper rash from name brand diapers.  When he was first born we used Huggies.  I noticed that I would have to CAKE on ointment just to keep the rash away when he didn't even had diarrhea or a soiled diaper.
We then switched to LUVS. Within a week his rash was even worse and peeling.  I once again headed to the store to look and buy new diapers.
All these store named diapers that you always hear and every box is saying how amazing their brand is but even Pampers didn't help his poor butt. I was spending tons of money on diapers and diaper rash cream too!
I then switched to Huggies Naturals. He still got a rash and our problems were far from gone.  Brayden came down with a virus that consisted of unending diarrhea.  Mixing diarrhea with an already sore bottom was not a good mix.  I took my poor b…
