22 Weeks Down, 18 More To Go!

22 Week Bump Board

With the inconvenience of not having internet or service at home and not being able to do my blog while I am working I suppose I am doing it when I find the time. At this moment we are at Matts parents washing clothes because we do not have a washer and dryer at our apartment, just add it to the list of what it doesn't have. I am trying my hardest to stay positive and stress free but with time ticking away and my stress level getting higher some days it's hard to do.
On a more positive note we did find a house that we are very interested in and are putting an offer on it some day this week. Fingers crossed that everything goes as planned and fast but I wont get my hopes up.

This past week was very busy with Luckless orders, trying to unpack, chasing after Brayden and I had Army Drill this past weekend. Usually Saturday is my relax with Brayden day but I haven't got the chance to have a lazy day with my baby in almost a month due to moving and Army Drill. I just keep telling myself to get my work done that way I will get a chance to finally relax!

These are all the Luckless Orders I have printed off, filled, packaged and printed shipping labels for. Some day I will have to do a blog post on what I do step by step but until then just take my word that I am SO RELIVED that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are in our past. Even though I am so proud of Matthew and how successful Luckless has became this past year. Cheers to that.

On that note,
here is my 22 Week Bump Board

This week's big developments: At 11 inches and almost 1 pound your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers her body and the deep wrinkles on her skin, which she'll sport until she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside her belly, her pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

How far along: 22 Weeks

Gender: Baby GIRL

Weight gain: +6 lbs

Maternity clothes: Even with Brayden I only bought 1 pair of Maternity pants that I ended up hating anyways. I am a firm believer in leggings. Many, many, many leggings!

Stretch marks: Still no new ones and trying to keep it that way but we will see since she is so much lower than Brayden was.

Belly button in or out: I am almost convinced it may actually pop out with this pregnancy. Still looks like an orange navel! Ha

Sleep: Sleep is good when I finally get some! Matts parents actually watched Brayden for a few hours Sunday while we took a nap. The excitement of being parents!

Best moment this week: Best moment this week had to be spending time with Matt and my family at the Armory Christmas Dinner. It was nice to have a moment where we both weren't rushing around for once. I feel like I don't get to enjoy Matt as much as I use to and I would love to start having more personal time with him all craziness set aside.
My other favorite moment was Brayden putting his hand on my tummy and smiling the other morning. He started talking in his baby talk and giggling while he played with my tummy and belly button. Moments like that last a lifetime. He will be such a good big brother.

Worst moment this week: My worst moment this week has to be my struggle with my eye sight. I have noticed it getting worse and worse the past few weeks and I am finally connecting it with my migraines. Looks like a call to the eye doctor for some contacts will finally be made!

Miss anything: I never really drank alcohol or caffeine before being pregnant so I don't miss any of that much. I guess I can say I miss not being tired all the time and my clothes fitting right. These love handles are getting to me again! Ha

Movement: I love feeling her wiggles and kicks inside my stomach.

Cravings: My craving this week was french toast sticks from Burger King and orange juice. Uhh now I want some.

Queasy or sick: I still struggle in the car with sickness and if I eat certain things but mostly its just migraines.

Looking forward to: I am looking forward to feeling her hiccups and seeing her sweet face at 34 weeks.

Starting weight 119lb Starting waist measuremenst 31in.

I am now 125.4lbs and 35 in.

Confessions of a Hair Color-a-Holic

When sitting and deeply thinking about something harmful that I am addicted to it took awhile for me to come to terms with the ONE and only addiction that I have.
Coloring & Bleaching my hair.
I have never:  smoked tried any drugs rarely drank alcohol chewed tobacco eat lots of junk food or even drank caffeinated drinks.
I am fairly borderline boring besides the fact that  I am ADDICTED TO CHANGING MY HAIR. Here is my story and eye opener:
I started coloring my hair when I was 15 year old.  For the longest time I was a tom boy and had naturally long dirty blond hair.  The first color I ever did was burgundy underneath and low lights up top. After that it was a spiral of different colors.
Strawberry blonde, dark brown, blonde with red low lights, platinum blonde, chestnut brown it never ended. Along with all the colors I also had issues with ever growing my hair out again  because I was constantly ruining my hair with chemicals.
I started wearing my first set of clip in extensions when I wa…

Chicken Pox after Vaccine

The run around due to Breakthrough Varicella
On October 30th 2014 my son got his Chickenpox Vaccine.

November 24th  I noticed a few bumps on his stomach when he woke up and called his pediatrician for an appointment right away. The doctor said that they were bug bites.  When I asked about the chicken pox vaccine she assured me that the rash had nothing to do with the vaccine. I picked up calamine lotion and carpet insect killer.  Went home and stripped his bedding, bleached his crib rails and mattress,  sprayed his carpet with the insect killer and even got rid of our dog. The bumps dried up but as soon as they did...
December 2nd Brayden was once covered in bumps.  They were mostly on his back/neck and stomach. I freaked out thinking that it was a bug again even though he sleeps in footie pjs. Once again I sprayed the carpets, stripped his bedding and bleached his mattress. I searched HIGH and LOW looking for any bug(s) or even a spider web. The bumps dried up and went away but not for long.

An honest blog about Honest Diapers ❤ PART ONE

Before I get into the benefits of Honest Diapers I wanted to first share my story on the struggles I dealt with that lead me to Honest.
My first born, Brayden, always struggled with diaper rash from name brand diapers.  When he was first born we used Huggies.  I noticed that I would have to CAKE on ointment just to keep the rash away when he didn't even had diarrhea or a soiled diaper.
We then switched to LUVS. Within a week his rash was even worse and peeling.  I once again headed to the store to look and buy new diapers.
All these store named diapers that you always hear and every box is saying how amazing their brand is but even Pampers didn't help his poor butt. I was spending tons of money on diapers and diaper rash cream too!
I then switched to Huggies Naturals. He still got a rash and our problems were far from gone.  Brayden came down with a virus that consisted of unending diarrhea.  Mixing diarrhea with an already sore bottom was not a good mix.  I took my poor b…
