32 Weeks Down, 8 More To Go!❤

Highlights and Lowlights of my Pregnancy Week 31-32:
I actually had to sit down with a planner and write what I did on each day this past week because I have been so busy! Between Brayden's appointments, my baby appointments, my biopsy, trying to pack to move and keeping up with Luckless... this momma is ready for hibernation

Last Thursday I finally broke down and had a mini panic attack but after hugs from my momma and remembering that it could always be worse I got up, brushed my self off and carried on. When I look at my life from a perspective I see how lucky I really am. I have an AMAZING man who has stuck by my side through thick and thin. I have a healthy baby boy who is way advance for his age and loves me more than I could ever imagine. I have a perfect baby girl in the womb preparing to make her appearance any day and most of all I have people who love me and always give me the strength I need when I am feeling down.

Besides being sleepy all the time and napping at any chance I have this week has been pretty easy. I have managed to avoid restless legs this pregnancy so far and besides catching a 24 hour stomach flu I have no complaints. My breast is still a little tender and bruised from the biopsy but not as bad as I had anticipated. Lets face it... we all worry about our "girls" when it comes to getting needles shoved in them. The pressure on my pelvis has eased up a little as she plays kick boxing with my ribs these days, but that's okay. I try not to complain about her movement or being in pain because I know there are so many moms that would have killed to be able to carry their babies a little longer in the womb. I cherish every back ache, uncomfortable car ride, sweet craving, rib kick, heartburn nightmare and stretch mark I get while carrying my baby girl.

Frequent urination
Braxton hicks
Sore breasts
Blotchy face
Sore back at night
Dry Hair
Itchy abdomen

This week's big developments: She's starting to get ready for her big debut, tipping the scales at almost four pounds and topping out at just about 19 inches. In these past few weeks, it's all about practice, practice, practice as she hones the skills she'll need to thrive outside the womb — from swallowing and breathing to kicking and sucking. And speaking of sucking, your little one has been able to suck her thumb for a while now. Something else to note: As more and more fat accumulates under your baby's skin, she's becoming less transparent and more opaque.

Your body week 32 of pregnancy: To accommodate you and your baby's growing needs, your blood volume has increased 40 to 50 percent since you got pregnant. With your uterus pushing up near your diaphragm and crowding your stomach, the consequences may be shortness of breath and heartburn. To help relieve your discomfort, try sleeping propped up with pillows and eating smaller meals more often.

Weight Gain/Loss: +12 pounds Sleep: I have actually been getting a lot of sleep yet I am still exhausted ALL THE TIME.
Best Moment This Week: The best moment this week was getting Brayden back to almost 100% healthy. I can't wait to have things calmed down. This past month has been horrible. He also says Mama and Mum now. Melts my heart!
Movement: I always thought she really low but lately she has been bulging more at my ribs. I suppose it makes sense since she is head down now and getting ready for birth. Her little legs are always moving around. It's okay Elena keep pushing moms boobs up and making them look perky. I like the extra lift. (;
Food Cravings/Aversions: This week I haven't had a big appetite but when I am hungry I am STARVED. Matts grandma made us sauerkraut and pork. I pigged out on it! Matt has also made me orange soda and vanilla ice cream floats the past two nights. I KNOW I'M CHEATING MY HEALTHY DIET. But it is SO GOOD!
What I Miss: I have to say I still miss just not being pregnant. I love everything about my bump and feeling her movements but I am ready to have my body back and get back to speed. Im not use to being slowed down! And lets face it my sex drive is not anywhere close to what it use to be. Poor Matt. Hard to be "in the mood" when you feel like there is an elephant laying on your lungs.
Stretch Marks: My mother has stretch marks so I knew I would get them. I apply lotion like crazy but I know that I will still get them. I may not have a perfect body anymore but I already have one perfect child and another on the way!
Mood: Earlier this week I was crazy emotional and dropping my basket but the past few days have been getting better and I am finally feeling like the world isn't on my shoulders! I hope things continue to ease up on us.
Labor Signs: I am trying to remember what day it was. I am thinking it was last Wednesday. But suddenly I got horrible cramps so bad I had to get on my hands and knees to ease the pain and breath through them. I started to time them to make sure it wasn't contractions. They were about 40 seconds every 4 minutes. I messaged my midwife and told her what was going on and she said it could be a stomach bug but if it got worse go to the ER. Sure enough not even a half hour later I was projectile vomiting in the toilet for about 5 minutes straight. Once I threw up the contractions eased up and baby girl and I were feeling amazing by the next morning! After getting that brief view of contractions again I can say I am getting a little nervous for labor again. PUT MY BIG GIRL PANTS ON BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE 56 DAYS TO GO!
Upcoming Appointments/Events: Friday is my appointment with my midwife! I got my results back from my biopsy and they said I was A-OK! I couldn't be more relieved. What I look forward to: Moving into our town house, My baby sprinkle, Brayden's first birthday, the birth of my baby girl and marrying the love of my life.

Weekly Wisdom: When your life is pulling you in every direction, take a deep breath and forget where you belong. Just think of where you wanna be.

Confessions of a Hair Color-a-Holic

When sitting and deeply thinking about something harmful that I am addicted to it took awhile for me to come to terms with the ONE and only addiction that I have.
Coloring & Bleaching my hair.
I have never:  smoked tried any drugs rarely drank alcohol chewed tobacco eat lots of junk food or even drank caffeinated drinks.
I am fairly borderline boring besides the fact that  I am ADDICTED TO CHANGING MY HAIR. Here is my story and eye opener:
I started coloring my hair when I was 15 year old.  For the longest time I was a tom boy and had naturally long dirty blond hair.  The first color I ever did was burgundy underneath and low lights up top. After that it was a spiral of different colors.
Strawberry blonde, dark brown, blonde with red low lights, platinum blonde, chestnut brown it never ended. Along with all the colors I also had issues with ever growing my hair out again  because I was constantly ruining my hair with chemicals.
I started wearing my first set of clip in extensions when I wa…

Chicken Pox after Vaccine

The run around due to Breakthrough Varicella
On October 30th 2014 my son got his Chickenpox Vaccine.

November 24th  I noticed a few bumps on his stomach when he woke up and called his pediatrician for an appointment right away. The doctor said that they were bug bites.  When I asked about the chicken pox vaccine she assured me that the rash had nothing to do with the vaccine. I picked up calamine lotion and carpet insect killer.  Went home and stripped his bedding, bleached his crib rails and mattress,  sprayed his carpet with the insect killer and even got rid of our dog. The bumps dried up but as soon as they did...
December 2nd Brayden was once covered in bumps.  They were mostly on his back/neck and stomach. I freaked out thinking that it was a bug again even though he sleeps in footie pjs. Once again I sprayed the carpets, stripped his bedding and bleached his mattress. I searched HIGH and LOW looking for any bug(s) or even a spider web. The bumps dried up and went away but not for long.

An honest blog about Honest Diapers ❤ PART ONE

Before I get into the benefits of Honest Diapers I wanted to first share my story on the struggles I dealt with that lead me to Honest.
My first born, Brayden, always struggled with diaper rash from name brand diapers.  When he was first born we used Huggies.  I noticed that I would have to CAKE on ointment just to keep the rash away when he didn't even had diarrhea or a soiled diaper.
We then switched to LUVS. Within a week his rash was even worse and peeling.  I once again headed to the store to look and buy new diapers.
All these store named diapers that you always hear and every box is saying how amazing their brand is but even Pampers didn't help his poor butt. I was spending tons of money on diapers and diaper rash cream too!
I then switched to Huggies Naturals. He still got a rash and our problems were far from gone.  Brayden came down with a virus that consisted of unending diarrhea.  Mixing diarrhea with an already sore bottom was not a good mix.  I took my poor b…
