25 Weeks Down, 15 More Weeks to go!❤

Hey everyone!
So the past two weeks have been crazy busy.
Yesterday I took the time to read a few of my old Bump Boards with Elena and I liked that
I always kept up to date with everything that was going on in our life.
I giggled because so much hasn't changed and now I am in the same stages with Elena
that I was with Brayden in my second pregnancy.

Brayden has been a mix of a handful and adorable.
Isn't that always though?
If he isn't destroying everything, refusing to eat, climbing on the furniture & pushing his sister
then he is dancing, speaking in TICKLISH LANGUAGE and being too damn cute.
It's bitter sweet that my little monster is turning TWO next month.

Elena is in a horrible phase that involves NO SLEEP.
She wakes up every hour of the night and screams if you don't give her what she wants & FAST.
She is also into destroying everything and climbing on the furniture.
I blame Brayden for teaching her all the bad stuff at an early age - haha.
She is SO CLOSE to walking and loves to dance to music just like her big brother.
Elena LOVES TO EAT and you can tell!
Her chunky butt is 23lbs and 30.5 inches tall!

Neither of them really acknowledge that Mom is getting fat again and they will be having another sibling.
Elena thinks my belly is there to blow raspberries on and Brayden thinks it's his personal drum.

On that note, Let's get to my 25 WEEK BUMP BOARD!

This weeks developments for baby: Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. His weight — 1 1/2 pounds. He's beginning to exchange his long, lean look for some baby fat. As he does, his wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and he'll start to look more and more like a newborn. He's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

This weeks changes for mom: Get ready to kiss your petite little belly goodbye soon (if you haven't already) -- your uterus is growing big-time! It is now about the size of a soccer ball. As your uterus continues to expand upward -- the top is nearly midway between your breasts and belly button now -- your middle will grow longer and wider. Makes sense; your baby's going to be pushing past the two-pound mark in no time at all, and you've gotta make room for him in there.

Starting weight 120 pounds - Starting waist measurement 31.5 inches.
128lbs & 37 inches
WEIGHT: +8 pounds
WAIST: 37 inches (+5.5 inches)

Highlights and Lowlights of my Pregnancy Week 25:

  • Baby boy moves a ton and reassures mom he's okay.
  • I have had no bleeding and loss of mucus plug has slowed!
  • Braxton Hicks has slowed down!

  • Braxton Hicks constantly. They don't hurt just hard to breathe and stomach tightens.
  • Pelvis and hip pain. Occasional back pain.
  • Still fighting sinuses ):
  • I want to eat everything in sight.
  • I am having issues sleeping at night
  • Frequent Urination! Once an hour during the night.
  • I have been having issues with the lump in my right breast again.

Stretch marks: No new ones yet! Ive been lotioning like crazy.

Belly button in or out: It is an innie outtie! I have never had it pop out for any of my pregnancies. But I do notice that he is very low and pushes my belly button up higher. *still the same* (:

Sleep: I am so sleepy during the day but wide awake at night. When I finally go to sleep Elena wakes up.

Best moment this week: This week I have just loved seeing my little man get big and wiggle my whole stomach with his movements. I had an appointment with my midwife and I am still looking perfect!

Worst moment this week: All week I have wanted nothing but sweets, sweets & more sweets. I notice I have more issues controlling bad eating habits with my boy pregnancies. *still the same* I have tried to stick to kool-aid and healthy fruit smoothies to cure my cravings.

Miss anything: I do miss not being so exhausted all the time but I know it's only temporary and so worth it.

Movement: Tons of movement, I love watching my little man kick and squirm. Going to miss this.

Cravings: Brownies, kool-aid, steak...

Queasy or sick: Just tired this week. The only sickness I have is a sinus infection not pregnancy. *Still the same*

Looking forward to: Being a week closer to meeting our little man!

Mood: My mood is mixed in between stressed but lovey at the same time.

Upcoming events/appointments:
Appointment with my midwife next month then we have biweekly appointments!
3D ultrasound at 29ish weeks. (:

What I look forward to: A confirmation that the baby is okay and growing perfectly!

Weekly Wisdom:  Never let someones opinion effect what you know.

Confessions of a Hair Color-a-Holic

When sitting and deeply thinking about something harmful that I am addicted to it took awhile for me to come to terms with the ONE and only addiction that I have.
Coloring & Bleaching my hair.
I have never:  smoked tried any drugs rarely drank alcohol chewed tobacco eat lots of junk food or even drank caffeinated drinks.
I am fairly borderline boring besides the fact that  I am ADDICTED TO CHANGING MY HAIR. Here is my story and eye opener:
I started coloring my hair when I was 15 year old.  For the longest time I was a tom boy and had naturally long dirty blond hair.  The first color I ever did was burgundy underneath and low lights up top. After that it was a spiral of different colors.
Strawberry blonde, dark brown, blonde with red low lights, platinum blonde, chestnut brown it never ended. Along with all the colors I also had issues with ever growing my hair out again  because I was constantly ruining my hair with chemicals.
I started wearing my first set of clip in extensions when I wa…

Chicken Pox after Vaccine

The run around due to Breakthrough Varicella
On October 30th 2014 my son got his Chickenpox Vaccine.

November 24th  I noticed a few bumps on his stomach when he woke up and called his pediatrician for an appointment right away. The doctor said that they were bug bites.  When I asked about the chicken pox vaccine she assured me that the rash had nothing to do with the vaccine. I picked up calamine lotion and carpet insect killer.  Went home and stripped his bedding, bleached his crib rails and mattress,  sprayed his carpet with the insect killer and even got rid of our dog. The bumps dried up but as soon as they did...
December 2nd Brayden was once covered in bumps.  They were mostly on his back/neck and stomach. I freaked out thinking that it was a bug again even though he sleeps in footie pjs. Once again I sprayed the carpets, stripped his bedding and bleached his mattress. I searched HIGH and LOW looking for any bug(s) or even a spider web. The bumps dried up and went away but not for long.

An honest blog about Honest Diapers ❤ PART ONE

Before I get into the benefits of Honest Diapers I wanted to first share my story on the struggles I dealt with that lead me to Honest.
My first born, Brayden, always struggled with diaper rash from name brand diapers.  When he was first born we used Huggies.  I noticed that I would have to CAKE on ointment just to keep the rash away when he didn't even had diarrhea or a soiled diaper.
We then switched to LUVS. Within a week his rash was even worse and peeling.  I once again headed to the store to look and buy new diapers.
All these store named diapers that you always hear and every box is saying how amazing their brand is but even Pampers didn't help his poor butt. I was spending tons of money on diapers and diaper rash cream too!
I then switched to Huggies Naturals. He still got a rash and our problems were far from gone.  Brayden came down with a virus that consisted of unending diarrhea.  Mixing diarrhea with an already sore bottom was not a good mix.  I took my poor b…
